What it is

Portable, air-powered sump cleaning and filtration

A wheeled tank with an air-powered venturi removes contaminated fluid from a machine sump, filters it during transfer, and discharges it to a recycling station, holding tank, or waste container. The self-contained unit ships ready for service.

Simple pneumatic controlsA single control switches between fill and discharge modes. A high-level check valve automatically stops suction when the tank is full.
No electric motor or fluid pumpThe air venturi moves the fluid without priming or an impeller pump, reducing component and training requirements.
Integrated sump cleaningRemoves sump fluid and surface tramp oil while the bag filter and chip basket capture metal fines and particulate.
Manual sump-cleaning demands
Extended reservoir pump-out time and machine downtime
Manual sludge handling and temporary containers
Spills and wet floors during transport
Costly labor, every cleanout cycle
Complex equipment controls and recurring training requirements

The Green Machine reduces sump-cleaning time and manual handling. One person can complete a typical cleaning in approximately 15 minutes, with filter bags as the primary consumable.

Tank configurations

Single tank or dual

Both configurations vacuum, filter, and discharge at the same rate. The DTS adds a clean-fluid tank so the sump can be refilled during the same service cycle.

Single-tank configuration

Vacuum, filter, and transfer

One tank removes dirty fluid, filters it, and discharges it to a recycling station, holding tank, or waste container.

Best fit

Choose the single-tank configuration when clean coolant is supplied separately or when the unit transfers dirty coolant to a recycling system.

DTS dual-tank configuration

Remove and refill in one visit

The first tank collects contaminated coolant, tramp oil, metals, and particulate. The second tank carries clean coolant for immediate sump refill and reduced machine downtime.

Best fit

Choose the DTS configuration when dirty-coolant removal and clean-coolant refill must occur during the same service cycle.

Tank capacity

55 gallons supports smaller sumps and restricted floor space. 90 gallons supports larger sump volumes and fewer discharge cycles. Both capacities are available in single-tank and DTS configurations.

Operating features

Fast, controlled sump service

01

Portable pneumatic operation

Four casters and an air-powered venturi support movement between machines without an electrical connection or pump priming.

02

High-flow fluid removal

The venturi transfers sump contents at 55 to 70 GPM while the bag filter and chip basket capture particulate.

03

Automatic overfill protection

A high-level check valve stops suction automatically when the tank reaches capacity, eliminating continuous operator monitoring.

04

Flexible discharge and refill

Filtered fluid can discharge under air pressure or by gravity. The DTS configuration also carries clean coolant for immediate sump refill.

An 8-inch cleanout door provides direct service access, and the onboard holder keeps tools with the unit. The primary consumable is the filter bag.

Integration with coolant recycling

Collect dirty coolant and transfer it to C.R.O.S.S.

The Green Machine can serve as the portable collection device for a C.R.O.S.S. batch-recycling configuration. It removes dirty coolant from individual reservoirs and transfers it to the central recycling station, while clean coolant remains available for immediate use. Other compatible portable transfer devices may also be used.

Common questions

Product and ownership questions

  • 01

Will it work with my fluid?

It is built for water-based coolants and washer-reservoir fluids, and it vacuums surface tramp oil from the sump as it fills. Straight oils and unusual viscosities require a fluid-compatibility review.

  • 02

    What routine maintenance is required?

The air-venturi drive eliminates electric-motor and impeller-pump maintenance. Routine ownership care centers on the filter bag, chip basket, and accessible tank cleanout. Replacement bags are available from 50 to 200 microns and can be ordered by model.

  • 03

What does it need from my shop?

An air line supplying 19 CFM at a minimum of 80 PSI, plus adequate aisle clearance for the selected model. No electrical connection is required.

  • 04

Is it suitable for a small shop?

Yes. The 55-gallon single-tank configuration supports applications where the collected volume fits within its capacity and aisle space is restricted. EdjeTech sizes the tank capacity to the reservoir volume and transfer routine.

  • 05

    How is lead time confirmed?

Include the required delivery date in the quotation request. Lead time will be confirmed in the response, and both configurations can be quoted for comparison.
